Alyssa Kapac

Alyssa draws from her breadth of experiences in research, communications and Canadian politics to advise clients on shaping political decisions and public policy.
Prior to joining McMillan Vantage, Alyssa worked as a Legislative Assistant for a Member of Parliament, where she gained valuable experience through advising the Member on policy issues, aiding with committee work for the Standing Committee on National Defence, and engaging with various stakeholders. Prior to that, Alyssa worked as a Constituency Assistant for the Member, where she handled complex case files and advocated for constituents to various federal government departments and agencies.
Alyssa has also been actively involved in politics within her community. Recently, she played an integral role in a successful 2021 federal re-election campaign, serving as the Director of Communications, where she developed a multi-channel communications strategy.
Alyssa holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature from the University of Toronto, as well as a Masters in Political Science from Queen’s University.
