Anushka leverages her experience in Canadian politics and government, political science research, and ESG to support government relations clients at McMillan Vantage.
Prior to joining McMillan Vantage, Anushka worked for the University of Toronto President’s Advisory Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability. She previously interned at Queen’s Park in the Office of the Minister of the Status of Women Ontario under then-Premier Kathleen Wynne, where she developed experience in communications, policymaking, and stakeholder relations.
Anushka engages with domestic as well as international politics through her academic and professional work. At home in Toronto, she has been a political volunteer in her community for five years, working on campaigns at the provincial and federal levels with a focus on supporting women in politics. She continues to work with various government officials, Members of Parliament, Members of Provincial Parliament, and policymakers through her active political involvement.
Internationally, Anushka has worked with faculty at University College London (UCL), organizers at Yazda, as well as contributed to an undergraduate journal at the University of Toronto for international human rights, international law, and sustainable development research.
Anushka holds an Honours B.A. in International Relations and Ethics, Society and Law from the University of Toronto and University College London, as well as a Masters in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
