The Honourable John D. Reynolds has nearly 40 years of experience at the highest levels of national and provincial government and in a diverse range of cross-border business enterprises. He is uniquely qualified to advise corporate and business clients on public policy advocacy, natural resource development, and growth opportunities in markets throughout North America, Asia/Pacific and Africa.
During his most recent 10 years in the House of Commons, John held numerous shadow cabinet roles, was Official Opposition Whip and House Leader, and was elected by the caucus and the Executive Committee as Leader of the Official Opposition. He was Chair of Stephen Harper’s leadership campaign and Co-Chair of Prime Minister Harper’s 2006 election campaign.
He also has nine years of provincial legislative and ministerial experience in British Columbia including as Minister of Environment, giving him practical knowledge of governmental policy involving the interplay between land use, economic development, and First Nations issues.
John is a director of two natural resources producers and a former president of a venture capital firm.
