Melanie Paradis joins us as a Director at McMillan Vantage Policy Group. She will be a key addition to McMillan Vantage’s Ontario and national public affairs and communications advisory services team.
Melanie has been at the front lines of Conservative campaigning in Ontario. She completed the successful 2018 campaign as a media and communications advisor to the Ontario Premier Doug Ford. She previously served as Director of Communications on leadership campaigns both for the Ontario PC Party and the Conservative Party of Canada.
Melanie joins us with over a decade of experience in crisis communications, public relations and Indigenous consultation. She served in senior communications roles with Vale, one of the world’s largest mining companies; the Métis Nation of Ontario; and at leading national public affairs and government relations firms. Melanie has worked with a variety of clients across industries to manage stakeholder relationships through crisis and to build coalitions of third-party advocates to help get their most important projects and policies advanced.
A lover of the written word, Melanie is a talented ghost-writer of speeches, op-eds and by-line articles for industry executives and politicians, with many published in Canada’s most-read newspapers.
