Laura Orsini’s interest in politics and public policy drives her ability to approach government relations issues from a place of knowledge and insight. She communicates with confidence and clarity, and her passion for the public affairs industry supports her willingness to go the extra mile for clients.
Laura comes to McMillan Vantage having worked in one of Canada’s fastest growing public affairs firms where she assisted on files ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. Prior to working in government relations, Laura completed her undergraduate degree while working part-time at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. In that capacity, Laura’s duties ranged from assisting political staff as they worked in the chamber, providing the Speaker the materials necessary to conduct his/her duties, and ensuring that the outcome of votes in the Legislature were secure.
Laura holds an HBA from the University of Toronto’s Victoria College, with a double-major in Ethics, Society and Law and Political Science, as well as a minor in Philosophy. Laura’s primary academic interests are in democratic theory and social contract theory.
