D’arci McFadden

D’arci crafts narratives and engagement programs that get people, governments and regulators onside. With more of our world at risk, she supports private and public sector efforts to communicate how they’re resolving policy, environmental and social issues to better the communities where they operate.
D’arci is an expert in developing integrated government relations, communications and stakeholder relations programs for businesses and NGOs with a particular focus on sustainability, energy, the environment, Indigenous reconciliation, job creation and capacity building. She has successfully influenced policy, built stakeholder acceptability and earned community support for a variety of responsible operators seeking project approval from governments, the Canadian Energy Regulator (formerly NEB), Ontario Energy Board, Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (formerly CEAA), Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, various Conservation Authorities and permitting bodies.
Before joining McMillan Vantage, D’arci spent nearly a decade at Canada’s largest public relations firm. There, she specialized in designing and implementing integrated public affairs and communications programs for Canada’s leading companies and industry associations.
D’arci is an active champion for Canada’s young people and the policy decisions that will affect them for decades to come. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Human Resources Committee for Jack.org, a national charity training and empowering young leaders to revolutionize mental health in Canada. As a Director, she has been helping the youth mental health charity scale and advocate since 2016.
D’arci’s political network runs deep in Toronto and Mississauga where she has lent her expertise in political organization, digital communications and media relations to various candidates at the municipal, provincial and federal level. For the last two years, D’arci has also provided communications and campaign training to the CJPAC Fellowship Program.
