Sydney draws on her rich experience in communications, political analysis and research to lead impactful communications and government relations programs for clients across sectors at McMillan Vantage.
Sydney is a former Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC) Fellow and is actively involved in politics with trained experience. She worked for the Ontario Provincial Government in their summer Queen’s Park Internship Program which led to her working Constituency Assistant for the duration of the year. She later completed an Internship at the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ottawa followed by working in the Conservative Party of Canada war room for the 44th general election.
Prior to joining McMillan Vantage, Sydney strengthened her communications abilities while serving as Vice President of Advocacy and Activism for Queen’s Hillel, President of Queen’s West African AIDS Foundation, Deputy Commissioner of External Affairs for Queen’s University’s student government, as well as a Creative Intern at the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights.
Sydney holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies, with a minor in Classics from Queen’s University.
