Tausha is a communications and government relations strategist with 10 years of experience working in municipal, provincial and federal government. Tausha’s clients benefit from her understanding of how government works and how to best communicate with the bureaucracy and political decision-makers.
Before joining McMillan Vantage, Tausha worked for a leading communications firm where she provided strategic counsel and direct to government engagement strategies for clients in the plastics, telecommunications, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to consulting, Tausha started her political career working for the Ontario PC Party at Queen’s Park where she focused on legislative affairs, stakeholder consultation and communications planning. In 2013, Tausha relocated to Ottawa to work for the Honourable Erin O’Toole. During her time working for the Hon. Erin O’Toole she served in Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff roles. In 2016-17, Tausha was a key member of Mr. O’Toole’s federal leadership campaign team.
Tausha also worked for Toronto’s Deputy Mayor Denzil Minnan-Wong and managed his campaign during the 2018 Ontario provincial election.
Tausha continues to be involved in partisan politics sitting on her provincial and federal riding association boards and through advising and managing provincial and federal campaigns.
Tausha holds a BA (Hons) in International Development and Public Administration from the University of Ottawa and a MA in Public Policy from Ryerson University.
