Clare’s experience in both the private and public sectors helps guide McMillan Vantage through the policy and government decision-making process. She leverages her research background and strong communication skills to navigate complex policy development and implementation challenges.
Clare’s consulting work focuses on natural resources, critical minerals, and technology, with experience supporting clients at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. She is adept at navigating diverse policy environments, enabling her to develop strategic plans and deliver results across jurisdictions. Clare is recognized for her strong organizational skills and her commitment to maintaining consistent, collaborative communication with clients, ensuring they remain informed, supported, and aligned throughout each engagement.
Prior to joining McMillan Vantage, Clare worked as a Marketing Analyst at American Express, where she helped design a national referral program for small businesses in Canada. Most recently, she conducted policy research for the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services within the Ontario Public Service.
During her academic career, Clare served as Director of the Mental Health Policy Initiative, leading students in applying a mental health lens to policy development. Outside of work, she supports the logistics team at The Gold Standard Project, a charity focused on the intersection of childhood cancer and mental health care, further reflecting her commitment to leadership and advocacy.
Clare holds a Master of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) specializing to Economics from Queen’s University.
