Our Team

Clare Casey

Clare’s experience in both the private and public sectors helps guide McMillan Vantage through the policy and government decision making process. She leverages her research experience and communication skills to navigate policy development and the implementation process.

Prior to joining McMillan Vantage Clare worked as a Marketing Analyst at American Express, helping to build a referral program for small businesses in Canada. She also spent time working with a tech start-up in the food services industry based in Toronto. Most recently, she conducted policy research for the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services at the Ontario Public Service.  In all her roles to date, she has developed a clear ability to adapt to new environments, develop clear plans and execute to deliver real results.

During her academic pursuits, Clare served as the Director of the Mental Health Policy Initiative, guiding fellow students in applying a mental health lens to policy solutions. Outside of work, Clare supports the logistics team at The Gold Standard Project, a charity that focuses on the intersection of childhood cancer and mental health care. These endeavours underscore her leadership and advocacy skills.

Clare holds a Master of Public Policy Degree from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Sciences, with a specialization in Economics, from Queen’s University.
