James leverages his political experience across all levels of government and policy research to add value and provide government relations solutions to McMillan Vantage’s clients.
Before joining McMillan Vantage, James served in various legislative affairs and issues management capacities for elected officials ranging from provincial cabinet ministers to federal Members of Parliament. James’ political experiences span provincial and federal election campaigns, as well as party leadership contests. James was recently named a policy scholar to a supranational organization’s representation in Canada.
James enjoys volunteering with various community and student organizations in his spare time. James holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science specializing in International Relations (With High Distinction) from Carleton University. He is completing a Master’s degree in the Riddell Political Management Program at Carleton University.
