Marisa draws on her extensive experience in government relations and political campaigns to provide McMillan Vantage’s clients with critical insight into political decision-making and government agendas. Her work has spanned a variety of industries and sectors, including technology, cybersecurity, energy, agriculture, natural resources, healthcare, education, and not-for-profits.
Prior to joining McMillan Vantage, Marisa served as Field Operations Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator for the Conservative Party of Canada. Over her political career, she has worked with several elected officials on Parliament Hill and Queen’s Park advising on strategic communications and stakeholder relations.
Marisa has an extensive history of political organization, having managed campaigns for federal and provincial candidates across the province and holding senior positions in the Ontario PC Party, including serving on the Party executive in the lead-up to the successful 2018 election. Marisa was a member of the 2019 Conservative Party of Canada national campaign team. In 2022, Marisa was recognized as one of the Ontario PC Party’s most outstanding campaign managers. In 2023, she was named one of The Peak’s Emerging Leaders. She often provides commentary on current affairs and politics on television and in print media.
Marisa holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science (Minor in History) from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters of Political Management from Carleton University.
