Our Team


Napas Thein

Napas Thein is an Associate at McMillan Vantage dedicated to analyzing issues and crafting policy recommendations across a diverse array of sectors and perspectives.

Before joining McMillan Vantage, Napas worked in a variety of roles, including as a Research Fellow studying Myanmar’s political situation, as a Global Security Intern for Kinross Gold, and a Constituency Assistant for a Federal Member of Parliament.

He brings forward a deep interest in emerging policy areas, providing novel policy analysis and development through a variety of research methods and insights. His insights on particular policy issues have also been featured in The Globe and Mail and the CD Howe Institute.

Napas holds a Master of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Urban Studies from the University of Toronto as well.
