Nivitha Jeyakumar is a seasoned government relations professional with experience navigating legislative and regulatory affairs. She specializes in crafting impactful government relations strategies, with expertise in advocacy, coalition building, and issues management.
Most recently, she served as the Government Relations Lead for eBay Canada, where she spearheaded federal advocacy efforts and ensured compliance with financial, consumer protection, and data privacy regulations.
Previously, Nivitha worked at a federal public affairs firm where she played a crucial role in developing strategic communication and stakeholder engagement plans that drove government action in the health, energy, and technology sectors.
Having served as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Parliament, Nivitha has a comprehensive understanding of government processes. Her extensive involvement in federal campaigns in Ontario and British Columbia further highlights her proficiency in executing communications and digital strategies for candidates.
Outside of work, Nivitha continues her advocacy work as a committee member of the Heart & Stroke Young Leaders.
Nivitha holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate in Government Relations from Seneca Polytechnic.
