Sam is a strategic communications and digital media professional with over a half-decade of experience in federal and provincial politics. Sam draws on his experience in issues management and strategic communications on traditional and digital platforms to translate complex concepts into clear, effective strategies that propel effective narratives, help shape public opinion, and influence government decision-making.
Before joining McMillan Vantage, Sam served as a Senior Issues Manager in the Premier’s Office. Previously, he worked in a wide-range of communications roles on Parliament Hill, including as the Associate Director of Communications to the Leader of the Official Opposition. Sam has also worked on provincial and federal campaigns, with experience on national campaign teams and local campaigns across Canada. Over his political career, Sam has worked with elected officials at Queen’s Park and on Parliament Hill, advising them on strategic communications, media relations, and digital media strategies.
Sam holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Windsor.
