Tausha Michaud is a strategic communications and government relations executive with 15 years of experience in municipal, provincial, and federal politics. Tausha draws on her experience in issues management, strategic communications, and campaign planning to devise client narrative and engagement strategies to move public opinion and influence government decision-making.
Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff to Canada’s Leader of the Official Opposition and as a senior advisor to the Ontario PC Party in the 2022 general election. Tausha has run numerous political campaigns at the provincial and federal level, and served in senior roles in the 2021 federal election and the 2017 and 2020 Conservative Party of Canada federal leadership races. She is recognized by The Hill Times as one of the most influential people in federal politics.
Previously, Tausha worked at one of Canada’s premier public affairs firms where she executed stakeholder engagement plans for clients in highly regulated industries with particular expertise in the telecommunications, agri-food and pharmaceutical industries.
Tausha has an undergraduate degree in International Development and Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration.
